Can't install under Windows 10

I uninstalled Hideaway before updating to Windows 10 & now I can't re-install it. The installation process gets as far as "Downloading Firetrust UI" and hangs. Have tried several times, after restarting PC, and it gets to same point each time & hangs

That sounds like your AV/Firewall is blocking the installer internet access to download the rest of the application. What security software are you running on the machine ?

Just using the standard Microsoft Windows firewall

Turned off firewall & retried with same result.

Did you reboot the system, after turning off the firewall?

Try restart computer and right click on installation icon and select 'Run as Administrator'. Although I can't see why it wouldn't be working - I just installed it here to check there were no problems generally.

It looks like I had some kind of virus as other programs were also being blocked, but not by the firewall. All sorted now. Thanks for your help

Oh, was that where someone posted yesterday the program used ? I thought it was a spam post and removed the user/post.
My apologies if that was legitimate.
