Strange email only shows up in Mailwasher Pro 7
Yesterday I checked Mailwasher Pro at one point for any new emails. There was one email that was from my Gmail address and it was to my Gmail address. I did not download the email. The title was "unsubscribe" and the message content was: "This message was automatically generated by Gmail." I logged into my Gmail account to see if the message was in my inbox. It was not and yet it showed up on Mailwasher Pro. So I changed my P/W and washed the email from MWP. Any idea what is going on here?

Google has a an unsubscribe feature that will generate these emails https://gmail.googleblog.com/2009/07/un ... -easy.html
If generated they can be found in the Sent folder.
There is another strange GMail quirk where sent emails can show in your Inbox folder. If I recall correctly it can happen when using POP to retrieve the emails.
If you keep seeing emails you send via GMail show up in MailWasher, you may wish to create a GMail filter that filters these sent messages.
To do that go into GMail via browser >> click the Cog icon >> select See All Settings >> select the 'Filters and blocked addresses tab' >> select 'Create new filter' >> in the FROM field enter your GMail email address >> select Create Filter >> select the option 'Skip the Inbox' >> Create Filter.
Emails you send to yourself in GMail would also probably not show up with this filter in place.
Cheers
