New PC, won't accept lifetime registration key.

Bought a new PC a little while ago and have finally got around to trying to migrate Outlook at Mailwasher onto it.
I have a lifetime registration key, but when I feed that in to mailwasher (after exporting and importing, and copying the key.file from older PC to newer one, I'm still getting a prompt to renew and if I put in the registration key, I get told it's been used too many times. Surely I'm not meant to keep the same PC for life am I?
