WHERE is documentation for the new settings needed for email suppliers that require OAUTH2, for GMAIL which will not accept "less secure apps," (I only learned about this from a post on this forum. Note I do not have time or patience to read this entire forum, especially since that post is from 2019 and is already obsolete), and for all the other email accounts I have that will not download into MailWasher Pro. Somewhere I found detailed instructions for downloading Comcast email and guess what? They don't work.
Is MailWasher of ANY use any more? I have 4 email accounts and am struggling to get any of them working. Why am I bothering to pay for this software if it will not do what it is intended to do? The Forum is NOT a good place to look for solutions because many posts are too old. We need solid, easy-to-find documentation for at least the major email suppliers - mine are Comcast, ATT/Yahoo and Gmail, along with a private one I hope I can figure out. This documentation needs to be updated with every change to the requirements and to ensure the links are current and useful.
I have used and renewed MailWasher for years. Then I was away from my computer for most of two years and I come back to software that is, well, broken. The "How to Use MailwasherPro" video is a joke. You can't do any of those easy actions if you can't download anything!
What is FireTrust going to do to help us? I have about 7000 emails to get through and only MailWasher will allow me to do that efficiently - but not if I can't download them into the program first!!

Re: Help! Documentation Needed!
Yes, MWPro has always worked with gmail, however yes, google have decided to block all non email clients from accessing mail, and that includes MWPro.... (all versions) the only way around this is to use 2 step authentication and use an app password in MW, Nick has added this to our FAQ's recently here:
https://www.firetrust.com/products/mail ... quirements
There is a .pdf file of this process here if required:
https://1drv.ms/b/s!Ak8zLigJcntTgaUvZKg ... A?e=WHsvN8
Once you have enabled 2 step authentication and setup an app password, here's how to setup the account in MWPro:
Open MWPro and click, Settings>>Accounts>>Add Email Account, enter a name for the account and your Gmail email address, click Save.
On the Incoming tab enter your Gmail app password you created earlier and click Save again.
Re Yahoo, it should work as is with OAUTH....
Open Mailwasher Pro and click, Settings>>Accounts, click your account and click, "Remove Account", click, "Yes, remove it", close and restart Mailwasher Pro.
In Mailwasher Pro click, Settings>>Accounts>>Add Email Account, type in a name for the account, and your email address and click Save.
On the incoming tab type in your password and click Save again, allow access to MW via the popup that appears.
(NOTE: if the popup gives a blank screen, restart MWPro, then check mail for that account and it should appear correctly then)
Note also, that a user has created this FAQ on Yahoo accounts which is very good:

Re Comcast, just set that up like any other account and it should work too....
In Mailwasher Pro click, Settings>>Accounts>>Add Email Account, type any name for this account you like, enter your email address and click Save.
On the next screen enter your email accounts password and click Save again.
(NOTE: for Microsoft accounts, (outlook, hotmail, msn, live etc) you will be asked for permission to allow MW access to the account, ensure you agree to this)
If it shows successful, click Save again on the outgoing tab then you are all set.
Re documentation/help files, yes, these are in need of a update for sure, working on MWpro 8 now, it'll have all new help files and we'll update anything that is required as we go.
