Even those emails marked for deletion are being downloaded to the email client after washing. Makes no difference whether automatically marked for deletion or I manually check the deletion box. Any suggestions how to fix this, please?
New Windows 11 install. Thunderbird is email client. Everything else seems to work perfectly.

Re: Not deleting unwanted emails
Yes, very sorry about that, we have recently discovered that for some accounts it add's a "_SSL" to the end of the server type which may be causing connection issues....
Eg, currently it is: "POP3_SSL" Port="995" and it should be: "POP3" Port="995"
OR:
Eg, currently it is: "IMAP_SSL" and it should be: "IMAP"
And possibly also:
Eg, currently it is: "SMTP_SSL" and it should be: "IMAP"
Please try editing the file to change this manually and see if it helps? (for all accounts)
To do this (also as per below screenshots):
click Help>>User Files within MWPro,
minimise the folder that opens,
click File>Exit to close MWPro,
maximise the user files folder again,
Right click on the "Accounts.xml" file and open in a text editor. (NOTE: may not have the .xml on the end)
change the above to remove the _SSL
save changes
restart MWPro
EG: FROM POP3:
OR if using IMAP:
TO POP3:
OR TO IMAP:
Eg, currently it is: "POP3_SSL" Port="995" and it should be: "POP3" Port="995"

Yes, that worked. Thanks. I assume there will be a patch issued to fix this in due course, but anyway this can be marked down as "Solved".

Re: Not deleting unwanted emails
Just spent hours trying to work out what was going on with two new email addresses that i have just set up.
This has cured it in a couple of minutes!
Thank you Gingbat.
Now, how do I replace the hair that I have been tearing out?
