Mailwasher Pro 7.12.173 Closes after Opening

My Mailwasher Pro just started closing on its own today. When I move my mouse over the icon in the system tray, it closes out. I can restart MWP, but again, as soon as I move the mouse over the icon, it closes out. I've tried starting the application as "Run as Administrator" and it still does it. I've rebooted my computer, and it still does it. MWP had been working fine all day, and then started doing this. No updates for the computer in several days. In Event Viewer I am seeing 2 events for Mailwasher Pro, one after the other, each time it closes out.

Same problem here Saturday morning too. Version 7.12.173

Same issue on my side...
I tried on three different computers (desktop W11, Laptop Asus W11 and mini PC under W10)... In all cases, Mail Washer closes abruptly after a few seconds...
I also tried to clear the cache... Uninstall and reinstall... Same problem... So I think the latest version has a serious problem!

I just contacted the support... Hope a quick answer

Updated to 173 a few days ago - working fine until now - MW disappeared from the taskbar. Restarting, it checks several accounts and then crashes - consistently.

Win 10 Pro x64 (up to date, but on checking, it installed (without consent!) this .NET update (preview!) - .NET got mentioned in @ucon 's log)

Had to restart PC - no dice.

It's a license issue.

Same problem here!

Opened MW this morning, it started to download new emails, began "checking" them and then crashed, repeatedly. I then restarted my computer (to check whether there was a problem with the system booting) opened MW and it crashed again almost immediately!

No chance of accessing MW error logs, it crashes too quickly!

Same issue here. Program ran fine, as long as the date was August. As soon as September 1 came along, the program started to crash repeatedly. Will not stay operational long enough to function.

Downloaded update a few days ago, worked fine.

Ran it this morning (2nd Sept), keeps just closing with no error.

It does stay alive if there is no email to check, but if there is any email as soon as it tries to check it the program closes...

It is happening to me also. Yesterday it ran fine. This morning when it was opening, it downloaded the emails I received since last night. When it started to evaluate them, after about 6 seconds or so, it just closed itself. It happened around 10 times when I decided to look for help.

I am running the latest version of Windows 10 Home X64 and I updated my MWP a couple of days ago to the newest version 7.12.173.

It does stay alive if there is no email to check, but if there is any email as soon as it tries to check it the program closes.





I just unchecked the FirstAlert box shown in another post in this subject. It does work. When they fix the problem, hopefully it will be in an automatic update and that they let us know, so that we can recheck this box.

Can't even download a previous version as links don't work!!

I've uninstalled and reinstalled version mailwasher_pro_setup_7_12_125, which works ok.
