Not sure where you got YOUR Permissions Page SC from but this is the only one I can find ...

Clicking the Site Identity Box on the Firetrust FavIcon will pop open the Firefox permissions window, before you.

Guess I must be a little more dense than I feared. "Site Identity Box"????? AND WHERE is that????????

It's not the FT Support Forums Icon; it's not in the Address Bar; It's not in the Quick Links Menu; I don't see any such "Box" anywhere else on the page; Have checked all the right-click menus I can locate w/ no joy; It's not anywhere I can see on the "New Post" EDIT screen; ...

Does a person have to do something weird like join a circle jerk to find it?????? If so, then "Thank You but "No", I'll PASS!!!"

Are you sure you're NOT screwing around with some WINDOWS thing????? Remember, I'm on a MAC!

Have managed to fix most of the issues with icon colors at the Forums and PM — however, after having kept those colors consistent with the Board theme, I'm (myself) having a tough time (even, on a tightly calibrated HD screen,) discerning between Read and Unread states of the icon.

In keeping with the trend at the rest of the Board, the darker (eye-catching) one is the Unread message.

That said, I'd STILL like to get away from the $R%^&* Gray Theme, but ...

I don't think that is happening anytime, soon. Can't see the Staff abandoning this (shareware) theme which is also considered to be one of the most popular one, for phpBB.

Well, my CSS utter sucks so small changes I make tend to break 4 others
Should have fixed some of the colour issues, had some bad comma placement which broke a couple of things.

The icon for Unread Posts got borked . . . . . . . . . . . . again.

I'm happy with that icon for the moment, one of the complaints was that the same icons but different colour wasn't good enough for determining unread status.

Wouldn't animated would be too resource hoggy for people that aren't viewing the forum regular ? as there would be a multitude of icons shifting/blinking etc..
Even if it were under control, I'd find it pretty visually annoying unless I was reading pretty much every thread.

To a certain extent, yes — however, the latest implementation cuts down drastically on resource-hogging.

Was waiting to receive a Notification for the Unread part of the background — here it is:—

The Read Background, (highlighted in the quote, above) is no longer working — check out the white background on the first figure (wonder if something changed at the server.)

Horizontal Estate Changes:—

• Reclaimed ~9% of lost and idle margins from the extreme LHS and RHS of the body (as highlighted in the figure below)
• All horizontal and vertical margins as well, are now equalized.
• Since a lot of native body is now chewed-up, only the white expanses of eyesore are left to be dealt with.
• The dissection also results in opening new possibilities for the reallocation of the expansive system (body) color which has now been exterminated (almost) completely.
• The circumcision will also bring a smile back on the faces of Users of handheld devices.
