HA disappearing several times each day

A couple of days ago I bought, installed and started using HA. Every day so far during the day HA disappears several times and I have to start the program again. This is no good as I now never know if the program is still running. I have to keep watch if it is still running, but when I am away from my PC I cannot notice if HA is still running or has disappeared again

Any suggestions?

Hi there, sorry about this. We have one other user with this issue as well. He's running torrents all the time and it occasionally fails. Are you also running torrents? If so I'll send you a special build which will give us some information about the problem.

I sometimes use torrents. Not every day.

I just restarted my PC, which I hadn't done since installing HA. I also started HA. Let's see what happens.

Just now I noticed HA disappeared.
I have only surfed on the web and did not download torrents.

I'll now restart HA

Could you please send us the logs?

Go to Start, type Run, and click enter. Then type %appdata% and press enter

Go to the 'HideAway' folder and upload the log.log file.

Just wondering if when you see HideAway disappearing, is it still in the System Tray and can you click on it to get it working from there?

I can see it in the system tray, but when I hover over HA (that is how I find out if it doesn't work) it fades and then disappears. Also in Task Manager it doesn't show anymore.

You should be able to get the update now by restarting HideAway. Hopefully this fixes your issue, otherwise we have some other ideas.

I don't think 4.1.4 fixed the issue, but this might.
