I'll start this thread by simply asking whether anyone has ever encountered the error message "Initialization of the WinINet API has not occurred" when attempting to run MWP.
If so, how did you fix it, please?

MWP on nine computers, six with Win 10 Pro 2H22 x64 and three with Win 7 Pro SP-1 x64. All have Norton Security.

Not an error I recall. Typically in those situations, a .NET Repair tends to fix weird things like this, try that first.
