Hi, last week I received a junk email so I blocked the sender and bounced the email. Since then, I've been receiving hundreds of emails every day from Mail Delivery System <[email protected]> saying "A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
How can I stop these hundreds of daily messages?
Thanks

Re: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender
The quickest way would be to write a filter that marks these emails, then once you are happy with the filter catching the right emails, set it to auto-delete
For example, Settings >> Spam Tools >> FIlters >> Add Filter >> give it a name >> click Add Rule >> set if the FROM, CONTAINS, PLAIN TEXT, Mailer-Daemon@slmp >>Save.
Then once you are confident in the filter >> go back to Settings >> Spam Tools >> Filters >> select your filter and click Edit >> click the Action tab >> in the delete frop down select 'Auto delete this email' >> Save
If you want more detail about the backscatter, check out the link below. Essentially you're address has been forged, typically these events are short lived
