Hello,
In order to help squeeze bugs, it might be useful to have the logs cleanup counter set as a parameter (currently 3 days)?

Re: Feature request: set log cleanup through parameter
Generally speaking it's enough for us to look back if there is a particular issue, I can't think of too many situations where we needed more.
However the log sending itself only sends the current days logs, not the last 3, which is probably something we could look at for getting a better picture.

Re: Feature request: set log cleanup through parameter
I found out I "lost" at least one email.
It's not within mailwasher's trash and neither in trash of my mobile client.
If I still had the log archive, I might have traced it back.
With today gigabyte drives, a few logfiles won't fill the drive.
And we might be able at better squeezing bugs :-)

OK sure thing.
We don't log much email information, just the subject. So unfortunately it wouldn't have been much good if we held more log days.
In the MailWasher Recycle Bin, if you click the Show All Email Logged, does the message appear there ?

Yes!
There it is!
It's not labelled as being deleted though.

OK, that should be correct if it was.
Under Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> make sure Store Cached Emails is off for all accounts. If the account is IMAP type and this option is enabled >> Set the account to POP >> uncheck the option >> set back to IMAP >> Save.
I don't know if that could be related, but better safe than sorry.
