Only one mail is downloaded

When i run mailwasher only one mail is downloaded.
After clicking the email check button, the second mail will be loaded and so on until all mails have been downloaded
If I don't follow this procedure, all remaining mails will be downloaded in Outlook 2016
What could be the problem.

Hi there

Under Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> click Advanced >> uncheck the option to Use PIPELINING when Checking Mail >> Save.
That should clear up the issue.
