Redirect problem

Posting here instead of direct to support in case other users can add input.

If HA is connected to 'Watch UK TV' or 'Australian TV' (& maybe others) the redirect works fine but if I try to reach some sites such as https://www.homedepot.ca via Chrome or Firefox I get the following error:

Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://www.homedepot.ca/en/home.html" on this server.

If I disconnect HA it all works okay but I, of course, loose my redirect & cant multithread
Not serious but inconvenient.

Any suggestions?

Hi,
Yes I can confirm it too. It will be homedepot blocking outside countries from accessing their servers, might be to past abuse experiences so they only allow people from Canada to access it.

Thanks Nick but shouldn't HA only affect the tabs that go to the UK or Australia when these options are selected?
a form of rules?
Does not happen on all settings - if set to Torrent its ok.

It depends, if you have Google Chrome selected to redirect to Australia then it will redirect all tabs in Google Chrome to Australia.
We're still working on rules, so that will allow you to exclude/include different sites across different apps.

I get the full redirect if selecting either a specific browser or whole computer but thought that redirecting just UK TV or Australian TV would have limited the redirect to specific sites in those countries instead of all browser activity.

Yes that's correct, it will only redirect the TV channels in those countries, so nothing else gets redirected.
