Request: Add "Check Default Only" option in the "Check Mail" dropdown.

The "Check Mail" toolbar button has a dropdown where you can manually check individual mailboxes or check all mailboxes.

I am a small web designer and I host web sites and email boxes for my clients. To test new mailboxes for customers I use MailWasher and then in the Account settings untick the "Include in default mail check" box. That way I can quickly check a mailbox, when needed, without them normally being checked. It's an easy way to check that an email box works when a customer says it doesn't. That happens more than you would think. I know, not a completely normal setup, but it makes sense to me.

Anyway, I currently have 10 mail box accounts in MailWasher, of which 4 are my own. So only 4 of the 10 mailboxes are periodically checked when I automatically check all my own mailboxes. The other 6, belonging to customers, are unticked. However, when I select "Check All", from the "Check Mail" dropdown, all 10 mailboxes are checked. That makes sense, I guess, but there's no option to manually only check my 4 mail boxes. There's no "Check Default Only" option in the dropdown which would act the same as the normal periodical mail check.

So this is a request to add a "Check Default Only" option in the "Check Mail" dropdown.

To keep the UI visually simple this option could only appear when there are both ticked and unticked mail boxes, so only when it actually makes sense to use it.

Yes, very good suggestion thanks, groups for checking mail is definitely on the cards for the upcoming MWPro 8, if not in at launch, (no date as yet though sorry) we hope to have it added not long after.... cheers!!

OK, I understand that new features are for the next version. It sounds as if WMP 8 will introduce some big changes. Such projects indeed take a lot of effort to complete, believe me I know. Good luck.
