Uninstalled current version, installed 7.12.188 and no joy, still can't login to my Yahoo mail account. Any further suggestions?

Opened Mailwasher checked if the update was there.
It was.
Updated.
Now everything is working perfectly.
Thanks for the quick fix.
I've been using this since the beginning and am so spoiled to have it to manage my email accounts. It's just the best!

The .187 version is official (link posted by one of the Mailwasher staff, and it is working fine. If you're not sure about using it, just make a copy of your data folder (I think it's under Appdata->Roaming->Firetrust as Mailwasher_2) then you can restore it if necessary. But I didn't have to do anything.
Without exaggerating, I never realised how much I depend on Mailwasher and I am so happy that it's working again.
Re: An unknown error has occurred. MailWasher is unable to determine the cause of this error.
I have been using Mailwasher since day 1 and was likely one of their first users. So in their defence I must bring an analogy with the electronics on a Tesla or other electric vehicle, especially in the form of a downloaded update. If those electronics suddenly start playing up, so you can't use GPS, or the indicators don't work etc, or you can't even open the doors, even the huge teams at Tesla etc. don't fix it in a day, never mind Nick and his smaller team and the time difference between most of us and NZ. I am sure that they are trying to find and fix the error, so just be patient and use one of the alternatives mentioned in posts above. They had all day Monday in NZ to fix this.

I didn't want to read about anything other than, hey folks, it's fixed go to this or that link, or check for updates and install. I know it's a process and didn't mean to criticize Firetrust at all.

I did have the time to read everything about the problem. I didn't want to spend my day reading what the problem was, who knew about or what they were waiting to do. I wanted a simple solution like the one they came up with.Rover wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 10:13 amThey are working on it
Did you have the time to read posts in the forum that pointed you to viewtopic.php?f=16&t=58538&p=168390#p168390 ?
which is the latest status.
Some things take time, I am a software developer, have been for near 30 years, some solutions take time. I have no affiliation with FT, but I can understand what they are going through. Whatever the actual issue is , it came suddenly, the authors were not aware of it, and are trying to remedy it . As a coder, that is the worst place to be. I get the impatience , but , in reality, some things need time to fix.

Try manually updating to the latest version, 7.12.188. The issue is now gone for me.

I updated to 1.88 - got repeated error messages that my logins failed. Jumped back to 1.25 - still getting the errors. I'm trying to figure out what got altered in the transition...

I did a 'Check for updates ...' and it showed me 7.12.188 was available.
After upgrade the problem has gone.
Thanks FireTrust !

My Yahoo! accounts are working okay, so it's not a general problem with Yahoo! Have you tried deleting the account and setting it up again?
If that doesn't work and you want support through the forum, please start a new thread mentioning Yahoo! so that the problem you're having is clear and likely to be noticed.
Alternatively, in MailWasher, go to Help - Send Support Logs and send some logs with a message describing the problem.
