Off the top of my head, I'd like to have a way to say that emails on my blacklist just get deleted before even reaching the recycle bin?

Oh, and having the "currently displaying emails from..." and you select today, this week, all time, etc. I'd like it to remember that setting? Every time I check back on MailWasher, I have to change that from the dropdown.

Thanks for the product!

I would like to see a way to automate actions for blacklisted domains and addresses.

For instance: Check reporting off and bounce then process. I could leave the app on and let it check every so often then at timed intervals... just check off and bounce the emails that I know are bad.
This would save me a ton of time sorting through them and it would bounce them immediately instead of the next day....
Are you aware that you may not be aware?

Yes, we used to have auto bounce in MWpro, however had to disable this as it led to a lot of abuse, often email providers blocked the user bouncing as it appeared to them they were sending out spam....

Although you can still bounce in the 7.xx versions, (just right click an email and click mark for bounce), we disabled the bounce column and the automatic bounce option to stop users from bouncing all spam emails, as we no longer actually recommend to bounce all emails because 90% of all email addresses in Spam messages are forged and therefore no one will ever receive that bounce message and it is just unnecessary email traffic.

Plus, a lot of ISP's actively block bounces now, and sometimes even block the senders of these...

Where the bounce feature is demonstrably useful is where you are trying to get off a legitimate business's mailing list that you are having trouble opting out of. Business mailing lists usually do check for bounces, do recognize MailWasher bounces as legitimate and do remove you from their mailing list.

I would like to trim filters that are no longer getting hits. If MWP logged in the filter record the last date a filter was matched and allowed us to sort by last matched date I could probably eliminate hundreds of obsolete filters and speed up processing quite a bit.

I concur with the enhancement suggested by @MrBill. After a while, spammers change tactics, addresses, Subject Lines, etc., leaving users with essentially "orphaned" filter rules that still have to be parsed by MWP.

+1

Have a great day.

YES, agreed.... possibly even a counter with how many times the filter has been activated and being able to sort by that would be great...

Strongly agree with the suggestions to provide actions for blacklisted senders/domains. Regarding filters that haven't matched in a long time - disable, don't delete, the filter.

And I would like to see some kind of support for dealing with all the spam which hides the "From" text via UTF-8 encoding. I know this may be difficult to do as a general feature - I'd be happy with a filter setting where I can say "match if it contains any UTF-8 encoded text" because NONE of my valid email has a "From" which contains UTF-8. ("Subject" on the other hand, often contains UTF-8 in valid emails so I'm not talking about just blocking all UTF-8 headers!) I haven't plotted out in detail how this might work, I'm guessing Firetrust folks are savvy enough to do this the most useful/flexible way.

I would like to see a dark theme for MWP. Also, a way to change the size of the text?

Yep, already on the list for MWPro 8! :) and yes, font size can be changed now.... you can increase this in MWpro 7 under "Display Options" (on main MWpro screen) >> click the A beside "Zoom" and drag the slider larger or smaller.

The bold option is under Settings>>Display>>Inbox.

Please protect the program with a password.
A small pop-up window asking for a password before launching.
Of course, this is only an option for those willing.
Thank you and best regards.
