Today, after installing the new update (June 20th, but I don't remenber version) I cannot access anymore MWPRo: "Some settings have been changed but not saved - Save changes /Discard changes/Ignore" . Something with MailWasherPro.MWPMainWindows exception.
MWP can't start, any ideas?

Re: New error on update
Yes, seems to be an issue with non English language systems and the MWPro installer.
Very sorry about this, we are working on this now, and I will let you know as soon as this issue is resolved.
In the meantime you are welcome to revert back to the earlier version if you wish?
If so, uninstall any version you have there now, click YES when asked to save settings, then install previous version from here:
http://cdn.firetrust.com/downloads/mail ... 12_193.exe
I will let you know as soon as a update is ready, however please let me know if any problems in the meantime.

Re: New error on update
OK, this problem fixed in latest beta, if any users with non English language windows versions have issues installing the release version (7.15.5), please email support at firetrust dot com and we can send you a beta version to try.
Cheers!

Re: New error on update
If you got the 7.15.7 beta and the issue is still occurring, likely this is a different problem...
This 'usually' only occurs when your PC crashes, or has a power cut and MW is shut down expectantly and has no time to save its files, which can cause some file corruption.
Can you please try this first.
Ensure MWpro is closed.
Go to Start, type run (then click the Run file so it runs) then in the ‘Open:’ box type (or copy / paste):
%AppData%\Firetrust\MailWasher
Delete the Startup.xml file and restart Mailwasher....?
------------------------------
If no better, you'll need to do the below please:
(NOTE: this will reset MW to factory settings, you will need to re-enter all your accounts, lists and filters etc into MWPro, Backup directions below if you wish to do this first)
Can you please uninstall, click NO when asked to save your user data, then browse to the following folders (IF there) and delete the contents:
C:\Program Files\Firetrust
C:\Program Files (x86)\FireTrust
C:\ProgramData\Firetrust
(The last folder is actually hidden, so you may need to enable Windows to show hidden files and folders under,
the Windows Control Panel, Folder Options>>View Tab>>Select, Show hidden files and folders.)
Then try reinstalling MWpro.
-----------
To Backup, you just need to save all files from the Help>>User Files folder, (OR backup via File>>Export), or if MW wont start, this folder is under:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Firetrust\MailWasher
(This folder is actually hidden, so you may need to enable Windows to show hidden files and folders under,
the Windows Control Panel, Folder Options>>View Tab>>Select, Show hidden files and folders.)

Re: New error on update
Problem with installer package - accounts not imported, etc.

I am sorry to say, but .. to be honest... I wish I had not updated. All was working fine.
Windows 10 x64 (EN), Microsoft 365 (EN), 2 Exchange accounts, 2 Gmail accounts.
Native language Dutch.
As always - installed over and into an existing Mailwasher folder (D:\Mailwasher Pro)

Re: New error on update
Try running the installation as admin? (right click on program and click Run as Administrator).
If no better, pretty weird that your settings were not retained, as they usually are.... did you have a backup from File>>Export you could re-import at all...?

Re: New error on update
I gave up. Have uninstalled/re-installed MW 7.12 over and over. It does not read the account info (2x Exchange, 2x Gmail IMAP), although it all looks fine.
I even uninstalled MW, then deleted everything within the Mailwasher folder, then copied back the entire MW folder from a backup, re-installed MW (7.12) over it - still no go.
Again spent 1,5 hour on this.
I'll let it rest.
Maybe some time in future I will try it again, timebeing I'll do without MW.
Sorry.
