Hi
I cannot install 7.15.10v on Win11 23H2 with this error:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER32\Software\Microsoft\InternetExplorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION
Yes, is permission but why? The only application with this warning I ever had, other apps had problems too, but solved in minutes,
How do I solve it?
I needed to install it on another laptop, while I worked on the one I use it, well it seems in the last 5 years or so, anything one needs to do quick cannot be done due to interference from applications/windows interaction!
Thanks
M

By the way
HKEY_CURRENT_USER32\ does not exist...
I also installed Windows feature 'Internet Information Services', then run t and changed 32bit from false to true.
No change...
It seems to be a rare occurrence and I managed to install it within the main admin account, but not usable within the user account.
It does not make much sense as user 'is' admin.
I will have to check permissions, if I remember how.
Wow, this is rare to me, after using windows since DOS 3.1 !

In the end I had to create new user and copied from old user... and then all the rest that comes... probably a week testing, then delete old one.
That User account was a admin, then I found it had instead the standard setting, even though Windows says administrator!
SO, I set the FULL control = no change
Done the usual SFC - RestoreHealth - just in case - no change and other things.
Very strange !
