New PC woes
I was sad to see my Win10 PC go ... I was using Outlook for email. I'm in the process of setting up Win11 and the "real" Outlook is no longer available. I now have the "new" Outlook that wants to put everything in the cloud! I continue to have password issues and I reset my AT&T passwords (2 accounts) so I know for sure that they're correct. I can use them directly in Yahoo/AT&T/Currently. However I try, I am unable to setup Outlook new. The password is not being accepted. I just installed MailWasher and setup my account, and again, same issue ... "Failed to log into POP3 server" If you an help me it will be greatly appreciated. lk

Re: New PC woes
Yes, not sure on new Outlook, but regarding MWpro, (outlook should be similar), AT&T usually require you use OAUTH, OR, a 2 step authentication/app password system to connect, so you could try that (OAUTH) first to see if it works?
To do this, firs ensure you are using version 7.15.10 (check under Help>>About if unsure) of MWPro, you can download from here if not:
https://www.firetrust.com/products/mail ... o/download
Then in MWPro click Settings>>Accounts, click the account>>Incoming tab, settings>>Advanced, select OAUTH (instead of SSL) from the "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" box as per below screenshot:
Click "Sign in with Yahoo" and allow MW access to this account when asked.
(if the server address: imap.mail.att.net fails to connect, you could try: inbound.att.net)
-----------------------------
If still no good, ATT now require you use a secure key (replaces your normal password in MWPro) for accessing your email via third party programs like MW if the account wont work with OAUTH....

CREATE A SECURE MAIL KEY
Learn how to create a secure mail key from your mobile device, tablet, or computer.
Have your User ID and password ready to sign in to myAT&T.
* Go to Profile [https://m.att.com/myatt/native/deepLink ... pInstall=N] > Sign-in info.
* Select the email account that you want to get a secure mail key for. (You’ll find a drop-down menu at the top if you have multiple accounts.)
* Scroll to Secure mail key and select Manage secure mail key.
* If you have more than one email address, select the one you want to use.
* Select Add secure mail key.
* Enter a nickname for the secure mail key to make it easier to recognize.
* Select Create secure mail key.
* Select Copy secure mail key to clipboard. (Jot down your secure mail key, so you have it handy if you have to update an email app on several devices.)
* For security purposes, the secure mail key only shows until you select OK.
* If you lose or forget the secure mail key, you can create new secure mail keys as needed.
* Select OK.
* Go to your preferred email app and replace the existing password with your secure mail key.
Then, use that in MWPro after selecting SSL (which will then show the normal password field instead of the "Sign in with Yahoo" option) so you can enter the secure mail key as per below screenshot:
Click Save after entering the secure mail key.
