Since the recent update to - Version 7.15.40
Mailwasher opens immediately on Windows Startup, even though 'none' is selected and saved on the 'settings', 'application settings' tab
is this a bug, or is there a known workaround/fix that i'm unaware of. thx.

Re: Opening on windows startup
Yes, sorry about that, an unexpected (so untested) issue relating to another fix we made.... we'll have it back to normal for the next update....
With MWPro closed, right click on it's shortcut and click "Run as Administrator", then within MWpro click, Settings>>General>>Application, and from the "Startup:" menu select, "Launch when windows starts", and click Save, then select, "None" and click Save again.
Click File>>Exit to close MWPro, then restart it.
If no better, please check the startup folder under:
'C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp'
And ensure MWPro's shortcut is not there...? if it is, remove it.
If not, click 'Ctrl, Alt, Delete' on your keyboard, select Task Manager and on the L/H side select the startup icon.
Right click on MailwasherPro (IF there) and click Disable.
Repeat if 2 instances.

Re: Opening on windows startup
Yes, you can indeed edit the problem registry key manually if you like.....
NOTE:
I recommend that you please remember the Registry controls almost everything in your computer so be very careful what you delete.
Always backup your Registry, do a Restore point in Windows before you edit the Registry.
To backup registry go to "Start", "Run", type in regedit and in Windows click Registry, and then click File >> Export.
Name your registry backup file and save to your backup destination folder.
To do this, in windows click Start>>Run>> type, regedit, When the Registry editor opens, go the folder:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Right click on the "MailWasherPro" key in the R/H panel and click Delete.
