Yes, it took awhile for me to get used to it and to get all the settings in place, and for it to get used to me and my views on what constitutes spam. But I switched to the 2010 rewrite the day Firetrust first sent me the email of the Maiwasher 2010 release, and it has far exceeded my expectations. It is a joy to use this exceptional rewrite of a program whose previous software served me well with far less sophistication for so many years years.
Yes, we were promised we would never have to pay for new version updates, and Firetrust has proven its integrity by standing by that promise. It is outstanding that Firetrust has continued to maintain that, "...the old MailWasher Pro 6.x will be available to users FOREVER AND WE'LL POST UPDATES AND BUG FIXES for it." How many companies continue to update their older software platform after they release a rewrite of the software?
An annual fee of $10 or so seems reasonable to me in this day when almost no software of this caliber, from a company who has paid the price of years of dependable free upgrades and support, can be renewed for less than $29.99, and many charge far more. I do hope Firetrust will continue to honor customer loyalty by holding the annual updates as close as possible to $10 for its customers who have supported them by purchasing and promoting their products through the years. Without us, Firetrust could not have become the well-known and well-respected company it is today. But I'm a very satisfied customer, and should it ever become necessary for Firetrust to raise the renewal fee above what I can afford, the original version of Mailwasher Pro still works extremely well, is FREE, and (according to Firetrust) WILL CONTINUE TO UPDATED as much as is efficiently possible! Can't ask for more than that!
