Second - Not only is it not clear why I have an email address that is marked for Blacklist, I don't have it marked for Blacklist. But the only emails I can find for that email address are marked just as I described them to you. I tried to unmark them for blacklist, but they just stay the same no matter what I do. I also can't find any of the addresses there in the Blacklist list under settings.

YOU GUYS ARE MASTERS. It took a while with me following instructions, but the last one by Sidewinder did it. I had about 10 blacklisted entries with a * before the @ sign. When I deleted those entries magically the problem cured.
