New Mail Washer Speed

The quick fix really was quick and easy. The program is working great again. I often download 100 email at a time. I get a lot of SPAM. It does take a little longer to download the email with the 2010 version compared to the old version of the program. But since the email are grouped by friends, blacklist, and filtered words it takes me less time to analyze the results. The good news is I am spending less time separating good email from SPAM. OK good, it's a shame it's slower to download for you. There's a feature this version uses that when supported by the email server can download emails a lot faster. A quick thought is try adding MailWasherProApp.exe to your exclusion list against your AntiVirus, as often when you tell your AntiVirus to ignore MailWasher this helps speed things up. The quick way to test if this could make a difference would be just to switch off the AntiVirus email scanner....

For example AVG we find this generally halves MailWashers speed in downloading email, but results will vary

Hey... that's a good one!
Checking mail was a bit slow here too; nothing to complain about, but slower than MWP6 for sure.
Added both MailWasherPro.exe and MailWasherProApp.exe to the exeptions list in Comodo AV and checking mail runs like a turbocharged SR-71 Blackbird...
Now... why didn't I think of that myself??
