Strikethrough of deleted emails

If I delete emails directly on the server via an other email program, MW still lists them, but with strikethrough.
I can mark the for deletion, but this does not happen.
Suggestions?

For IMAP access, these emails have not been expunged yet, Thunderbird has an option to expunge (clean up) on exit, so check your client to see if it has a setting.

The emails can be ignored and will eventually go away as they have been deleted

My guess is that what appears to be strikethrough is actually a known bug in the third party grid software where an artifact/corruption occurs. If you see it again, right click on the grid and and select Clear grid then yes. Then do another Check Mail and MWP 2010 will show only what is on the server.

At the moment MailWasher seems to have problems deleting emails on some IMAP servers. I know that it has problems with imap.aim.com. Have you also found that MailWasher won't delete spam on this account?

As anniebrion says, the emails that you have described will go away when your main email program expunges them.

The Clear didn't solve it before, but now did. Will keep you posted...
