Yeah, I agree. The Church (Catholic, Anglican, ...) is only "strapped" when THEY look at their expenses. Some rich British fella, Hamish Ogston, donated 4 million some months ago towards the Cathedral rebuild, so it's probably not a big ask to get that kind of money together.
From what I've just seen (short Roman holiday... wow, great city!) the Roman Catholics could help their Anglican brethern to the remaining 40 million w/o even the blink of an eye. New Zealand’s geological hazard monitoring system GeoNet described the signal from the band (and its 50,000-strong audience) as similar to volcanic rumblings.
GeoNet revealed that two seismic stations which are 1.5 and 2 km away from the from the location of the concert, in Western Springs, recorded a strong low frequency signal during the event.
