Damn, feel like we need to rework this whole caching thing.
A restart of MW is the only viable thing once that Identical Thread error happens. MailWasher should do the right cleanups, and release the locks on the files when this happens as well to ensure the backups can process.

Yeah I should have mentioned that, that would be Learning and the Recycle Bin data.

Already have the skip locked/in use files.

Once again its hang today on evaluting last email and schedule has not run. Have to keep closing it down and reloading and do a manual scan..

What makes things worse is when its stuck on evaluting you cannot access the wash mail to remove spam as it's greyed out.

Try clicking on the drop down beside Check Mail, and check a single account and see if that clears the state that MailWasher is getting stuck in.

just caught what happens after a manually check... the schedule just run and downloaded the mail then got stuck on evaluating the last message, which will only clear by another manually check.

any ideas on the solutions yet ?

I honestly think we need to rework some parts of MailWasher for this, the email volume wasn't what we anticipated 10 years ago when some of the internals were designed, so the internal caching and other mechanisms are just not up to scratch.

In the interim, anything you can do to reduce load would help. If I recall you were using POP and using IMAP you could tell MailWasher to only retrieve Unread emails from the last xx days instead of the full inbox which could assist.
