I have no Idea How to get the log file to be inserted here.
I checked the firewall on the server and my IP is whitelisted. I checked mod security no entry. I restarted the mail server even though it's happening to the 3, not on my server.
I shut off Malwarebytes and still no good

EDITED: I just checked deleted mail on there is none in the recycled bin. I went back 30 days empty, nada, gone. I rebooted and checked the same. I restated the mailwasher nothing and checked all times nothing.
I notice developer has said this is a win 11 only issue. It is on my win10 Pro also for Mailwasher Pro

Also I wonder if this is related to the recent British Summertime Change in Clock time in the UK

Same issue here in Germany, as of yesterday morning. I am running Windows 10 Home. I didn`t do any changes on my system before the issue suddenly occured.

Now "Nick Bolton and the team at Firetrust.com" can show what they've got.
I keep my fingers crossed for them.

All of my computers are running Windows 10 that have MW installed on. The ALL have the same error message as everyone else... This is NOT just a Windows 11 problem.

Description: An unknown error has occurred. MailWasher is unable to determine the cause of this error.

As usual WINDOWS is the problem. The second you download "mailwasher_pro_setup_7_12_187.exe" it is deleted without notification of message or log!
Its a false positive: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/53b3 ... ?nocache=1

I can confirm that the problem also affected Windows 10 Pro on one desktop and one laptop.

My other laptop was not affected, turned out that was running "mailwasher_pro_setup_7_12_119"

I have installed "mailwasher_pro_setup_7_12_187" on my desktop, and can confirm that this version is working.

Thanks.

I had to re-register for the forum, for some reason my account from 2021 wasn't recognised.
Yep - I can confirm it it is buggy on Windows 10 Home version on my desktop as well and Windows 11 on my laptop.

Microsoft Edge will not save "mailwasher_pro_setup_7_12_187.exe" ... It states that it was blocked because this type of file can harm your device.... WHAT A DEAL...

Opera and Brave downloaded it just fine. Luckily I barely use Edge... but just reporting the facts...

Hi All,

I tried a little bit around:

I installed MWP on a fresh Test-System where MWP earlier hasn't been installed and there was the already known error shown too.
No Antivirus solution is installed!

I wan't able to add the first Mailaccount

That means MWP is opening a connection to the MWP Server while setting up a new account.
That means some data will be transmitted to the MWPs-Server

(If you don't believe me, I would setup wireshark and take a deeper look into it.)

I DO NOT WANT TO TRANSMIT MY DATA TO THE MWP SERVER.
I'm not going to use the sharing funktion to use MWP on my mobiles.

SO WHY IS THERE A DATA CONNECTION MADE TO THE MWP SERVER ?

I'm using MWP to keep my personal data on a safe place.
Please update MWP that no more Data Connection will be made while setting up a mailaccount in MWP while I'm NOT using the mobile versions.
If I decide to use the mobile version I would enter the regading Data (for setting up those Mailaccounts on my mobile) by myself!

I tried older windows Versions (2004, 20H1 + 20H2) and MWP won't update my mailaccounts or let me setup any mailaccounts

I'm very disappointed because opening a connection to the MWP Server every time I'm receiving mails or setting up an email account.
With this program behavior you are NOT respecting my understanding of privacy and security.

If you're going to open a connection to the MWP Server please add a checkbox to obtain the users permission or ask everytime the user within a popup to open a connection to the MWP Server

I do NOT want to share my Mail credentials with MWP / FireTRUST!

I expect FireTRUST to respect my privacy and security and not to establish any further connections to the MWP server that are not absolutely necessary for the license verification!
Please do not abuse the trust that your name FireTRUST suggests.

If you are using Filehorse it may be a compromised version where your email credentials maybe are going to be misused...
I wouldn't use filehorse...

The work around works, yet I have only one question.
How will we know when we can install the current version back?

Windows 10 Pro.
I wanted to uninstall my .173 and - as suggested by previous posts - install mailwasher_pro_setup_7_12_187.
However, I cannot uninstall my .173. When I go to Programs... mark Mailwasher Pro and click Uninstall, nothing happens, absolutely nothing.
So I tried installing .187 without uninstalling .173 and I get an error. It gets as far as the "Ready to Install" window, then "The Mailwasher Pro Setup Wizard ended prematurely".
How can I uninstall Mailwasher but keep my data?

I'm sure if v187 is safe. It doesn't have a certificate and doesn't have a known publisher. MS Defender flags it as unsafe - but Norton says it is OK but doesn't have certificate.

I don't know if this is an official Firetrust beta release or if if a very nice MS user with some computer skills created this.

FT/MW has been completely SILENT throughout this whole mess.

**

I've also noticed that since I installed v173 restoring emails from my recycle bin NO LONGER WORKS!
